It was Sylverin's 10th birthday. Or at least that's what the templars had said. Jowan had already given her a book on Elemental magic and Sylverin spent most of her day reading that. Anders somehow disappeared, maybe another escape attempt? No, it was her birthday. He wouldn't leave her there. Alone…
Her only companion for the day was Mr. Wiggums. While she was reading, the cat was either sleeping on her lap, or was walking around her or on the table to get her attention for some lovely cuddling. She, of course, obliged, as she loved having the furry little thing around her as much as the cat loved being taken care of.
Her new book was very interesting. Sylverin learned quite a few new spells from it and the templars allowed her to try them out. The day, however, just like any other day, was pretty boring. Without Anders around, there was no fun for her at all. Jowan had to study, but Irving decided to let her rest for the day, as it was her birthday. And boring as hell. But it wasn't like she was going to complain about resting for a day.
"Psst!" she could barely hear the sound from behind her, but she still looked around. And the moment she managed to see who called her from the darkness of a corner her whole face lit up.
"Anders!"
"Shh! Come with me. I spent the whole day working so that I could get permission to bring you here." He said, as he reached out towards Sylverin who, without any hesitation grabbed on to his hand, holding Mr. Wiggums in her other arm. Anders took her up to the Great Hall where there was an open window. A rare sight in the Circle Tower. The windows were usually magically closed or opened only on special occasions for safety reasons.
"Why do we have to be quiet?" she asked.
"Because I don't want anyone to ruin the moment." he answered whispering.
"Sooooo, why are we here?" she asked while leaning out of the window. The cool wind of spring brushed against her cheeks and she enjoyed the feeling with her eyes closed. She put Mr. Wiggums next to her on the window sill and she felt Anders leaning out on her other side.
"I'll show you some places. You deserve some stories as well." He hugged her with his right arm, while with his left he pointed towards a set of mountains. "Do you know what mountains those are?"
"The Frostback Mountains, I believe."
"That's right. There is always snow there and it's cold. Imagine the chilling wind around you and the snowflakes falling onto your palms." As he said that, Sylverin closed her eyes and he took her left hand and turned her palm upwards. She could feel a cold wind now and some really cold, wet things fell into her palm. She opened her eyes and saw Anders creating smaller snowflakes around themselves with the cold wind. She closed her eyes again. It was an amazing feeling. After a short amount of time, she opened her eyes, and pointed towards a castle.
"Is that the Redcliffe castle?" Anders made the snow disappear around them.
"Yes."
"Have you ever been there?"
"No. I've been to the village though. A nice family took me in during my last escape… Well, until the templars came and took me back…" She giggled and he smiled. Such a young girl, living her whole life locked up in the tower.
"Hey, hey! If a time comes, when we are both free from the Circle, let's travel around Thedas!" her sudden idea was a bit extravagant, but it was a nice sentiment.
"Sounds fun!"
"Promise?"
"Promise!" he said as he hugged her. She giggled again in that cute way he loved.
"Where would we start?"
"Hmm. We could go to the Brecilian forest, go around Ferelden and end up north in Amaranthine."
"And then?"
"We could go to the Free Marches, Antiva, Rivain. It's always warm there, you know. Then to the Tevinter Imperium. Who knows, we might even learn something there."
"Sounds fun."
"Then to the Anderfels."
"Could we visit your family?"
"I doubt they'd want to see me there as an apostate…"
"They might!"
"You are right, they might."
"And then we'd go to Orlais, right?"
"Yes. To Orlais."
"By the time we finish with these travels, we'll have grown old." she said, giggling.
"No, I doubt it."
"But if we ever get free, I'll hold you to that promise!"
"You better!" he laughed and hugged her once again. This little girl was like a sister to him. Sweet and innocent. And that innocence had already taught him many things.
They spent the rest of the afternoon there and waited until the sky went dark and the stars came up. He showed her his favourite constellations, she showed him hers. They told stories, legends. The two of them hadn't even realised that Mr. Wiggums had left. At around midnight Anders carried the little elven child back to her bed laid her down and gave her a kiss on her forehead.
"I'll definitely hold you to that promise, Little one. Definitely."

Zevran Arainai saw his reflection and couldn’t help but grin. Maker’s breath, but I'm beautiful! His elven blood gave him a lithe but well-toned build, with smooth brown skin laced with seductive tattoos. Golden hair framed a devilishly handsome and tattooed face, long and silky, and loose if not for the one braid he kept tied behind his head. It helped him in many ways: luring others into his bed, conning someone out of their coin or possessions, or even softening his

Dragon Age 2 Drabbles: M!Hawke/Anders
I:
Varric was telling tales again. Hawke could see it in the expressions of the people in Low Town. Awe mixed with admiration, or sometimes, fear. "There's no place in the world more hungry for a hero than Kirkwall," Varric had told him. "When all hope has been lost we are forced to invent."
Hawke wished he could tell his friend that he was simply a random witness to events, not the People's Champion as the stories made him out to be. Just another Ferelden refugee, as lost and as caught up in the whirlwind of daily life as any other drunken sot at the Hanged Man. Too often he felt his words fell on deaf ears, that no matter what he said or
